From 14 to 18 October, Harutyun Tsatryan, INEDNET’s European Solidarity Corps (ESC) project coordinator, represented our organization at the “Sparkling Change: Enhancing Community Impact in European Solidarity Corps Activities” training in Rotterdam.
Organized by the Dutch National Agency for Erasmus+, this program united over 20 participants from Europe and Northern Africa, fostering collaboration and insights into community-impact projects.
"This training introduced us to the Impact Tool, a structured method for planning and assessing community-focused projects," Harutyun shared.
Participants also engaged in design-thinking workshops, providing strategies to identify community needs and develop creative solutions.
Additionally, a City Safari activity allowed Harutyun to meet with local organizations, exchanging ideas on assessing impact and learning valuable approaches for sustainable project development.
Harutyun plans to bring these insights back to Armenia, starting with design-thinking workshops and regular community needs assessments with INEDNET volunteers. By empowering volunteers to co-create tailored solutions, the organisation aims to address the unique challenges facing Armenian communities.
Partnerships built during the training will further expand our reach, enabling resource-sharing with international NGOs and community centres.
“This experience has given me new tools and inspiration to make our ESC projects more impactful,” Harutyun noted. Through these initiatives, INEDNET is excited to build a strong network of young leaders committed to meaningful, lasting change.
